Like “web2.0”, I often use the vague word “system” as a collective to include a diverse range of distinct or indistinguishable items:

• investment habits .. often without reason
• investment biases .. accurate description of human nature
• investment strategy/methodology? too grandiose
• investment approach? too high-level, too vague
• investment principles? too grandiose
• investment attitude/perspective
• investment objective/priorities
• investment preferences
