DBSDY #cf Singtel, T:US #$100..200

— DBS stock?

  • πŸ™ no fractional supported
  • πŸ™ price trend? 6M down
  • πŸ™‚ good dividend yield around 4% .. https://www.investing.com/equities/dbs-group-holdings-ltd-dividends
  • not a distressed stock like SIA
  • πŸ™‚ analysts mostly positive https://www.wsj.com/market-data/quotes/SG/D05/research-ratings

Tanko warned that Singtel was basically stagnant over 10Y. Yet if DBS pays 5% DY then I don’t mind stagnation πŸ™‚

How does T:US compare? The 20Y chart is no better than Singtel or DBS. However, the T:US div didn’t drop since 1998 πŸ™‚

[22]327>MSFT 1%- #add$50-100

— hot growth stock? but more established and profitable than virtually all hot growth stocks

Beware: A big position (like $200) could breach my firewall.

Enjoys a natural moat.

P/E beats most hot stocks.

CDY beats most inet stocks
CDY inferior to many tech old_guards

[22]172>AMZN 0.0% #^BTC^GM #add$30..60

— asset comparison

AMZN^BTC ..Β I feel even without dividend, AMZN is better than BTC. AMZN is a productive asset, with a proven business model and value proposition.

AMZN^GM .. both zero dividend, but GM has very low P/E, and Amazon has growth potential
